"Haven't You Done Enough"

Yes, I am still pregnant...since that seems to be a question I am getting a lot these days :-). And I thought I would share a funny story....

Tyler is a little jumpy these days and with reason, I mean the poor guy is scared to death I'm gonna go into labor and some sort of major disaster is going to cause him to have to deliver the child :-). So every time I moan, groan, or even look uncomfortable he jumps and wants to know what he can do or how he can help.

A few weeks ago, I started to find it amusing to say "Haven't you done enough!"...and it takes on various other forms such as "Ohhh...I think you've caused enough damage already!" etc. It makes us both chuckle at the hilarity of it all and reminds him simultaneously that there is nothing anyone can do for a woman approaching 39 weeks pregnant...I am uncomfortable and am going to stay uncomfortable. As my doctor says whenever I have complained to her about my rib cage pain or horrific heart burn, "You know what will cure that?...DELIVERY!"

p.s. Doctors say I am moving forward...or atleast my cervix is, whatever that means. Still no dialation but they were reassuring that I am progressing nicely with everything else :-).
