Baby Moon

Tyler and I had our "Baby Moon" this weekend...it wasn't an ellaborate trip anywhere as we both agreed we have had to do entirely too much travel as of late and just needed to rest. So we decided a weekend at home going on dates and enjoying our favorite restaurants in town was a much better use of our money! We went to Jim Shaw's (our favorite seafood resturant) Friday and then we drove around and looked at Christmas lights. Then on Saturday we went and saw "The Blind Side," an awesome movie for anyone to see, and went to dinner at Natalia's. I had butternut squash ravioli for the first time and was in heaven. We ate entirely too much food, but it was a really nice time together!

Tyler reminded me when we got home that it was 28 weeks so I made sure he got a photo of the 28 week belly right next to the Christmas tree. :-) Sunday we were back to our usual grind...we went to church and the grocery store, and I spent a chunk of the day reading (in one of two photography books I recently got for myself to prepare for the much anticipated Christmas gift from Tyler.)

However, at this point I should make a note...there is currently one present wrapped for me under the Christmas tree...it is an empty box...I know this because it is entirely too light to have my camera inside it! I don't know what he's up to, but he is thoroughly loving life every time I pick that stupid box up and shake it! :-)

Merry Christmas to all...

  1. Sounds like a great weekend! You look wonderful, as always. Can't believe you are already at 28 weeks!
