A good friend reminded me today that I have not given an update on mom in a while, thanks Merrit :-). Mom seems to be doing well. She had a little bit of stomach pain with her last round of chemo, but it doesn't seem to be as severe so she's just taking it one day at a time. She's eating well and is putting some weight back on, and that is a VERY positive thing!
Unfortunately, she has a bit of a rash coming up on her tummy. We're hoping that it isn't anything, but this has happened before and may mean a new drug again. Unfortunately, the drugs that work the best also tend to eventually cause mom's body to start reacting badly. We just need a few more rounds, and it looks as though she could go in remission again! So hopefully the rash will fade and chemo can happen again this month on schedule.
In Macon, not too much new stuff here. Ty's still pursuing jobs, and we both are trying to stay positive about all the options! Both of us will just be very happy to be settled in and know what God has in store for the next year...my constant lesson in life seems to be for patience! Thank you all for your prayers, and hopefully I will have more good and exciting news in the next few weeks!
